I've written a number of lyrics something of which I enjoy. One of the biggest influences for me is Music. I'm a very big fan of Country Music. Such artists as Keith Urban is an inspiration to country with his timeless guitar rifts. And Terri Clark a female voice just born to Nashville country. Another favourite of mine is a band called Sugarland. I like a great amount of the newer country rock. Bur its fair to say I am a big supporter of Keith Urban Brad Paisley and Terri Clark.

Of course I like other styles of music after all my favourite band Marillion are a true inspiration and a sound live act. Their concerts are nothing short of magic. And the atmosphere is mesmerising to say the least. Another band I love would have to be the brilliantly vocal Within Temptation. The female fronted band show such commitment to their fans and have created a sound that's good in the studio and live. Another Rock favourite of mine is a band called Xandria again a female fronted group with a good rock based sound. And of course one of my all time favourite musical influences is a band renowned for their time in the early days of their career. The Mission.

Other influences for me especially while I'm writing are Celtic groups such as Era and leisum.

I have also written a number of reviews for certain magazines that deal with sci fi and fantasy.

And I have also written a number of short stories for various magazines and short story anthologies.

I've began a new series based on the Deathwatch set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe this will be much darker than any of my previous Warhammer 40,000 based stories.

On that note I've also drafted a few more ideas based in my Human Chronicles creation, I'm aiming at creating a story arch focusing on a bounty hunter. As well as creating a new story arch much like the Rybok's rat pack stories only this will be following a regiment instead of Penal convicts.

Rybok's Rat Pack

Rybok's Rat Pack Is based mainly on the Dirty Dozen stories about the convicts from WWII. The difference being the Rat Packs are from the future.

What are Rat Packs

They are Convicts, psychos, lunkheads, losers, and the best kind of soldier only untamed.
The Rat Packs are Penal convicts from the military from across the colonial galaxy.
The colonial Federation High Command use these convicts on the most dangerous of missions when the odds of survival are highly stacked against them.

The Rat Packs aren’t created from any penal criminal, the units are created from the worst of the penal prisons. Each single Rat pack individual is classed as a highly dangerous living human.

The colonial command offer these convicts a chance of retribution, in extreme cases a decrease of their sentences or even taken from death row. In very extreme cases they have been known to be offered a pardon.

Rat Packs are also lead by an officer ranking between a Lieutenant to a colonel. Many of these officers have broken the law in some way and sentenced to leading these dangerous individuals on suicide missions.

    A Little about my Fiction

I've been writing for sometime now, when I first started to write fiction, my stories were set in the world of Warhammer 40,000. My first story Crimson Fist: The Necrosphere became rather popular to my amazement. So it was from that I decided to write a sequel ending the series with Exordium. I wrote three other stories in the world of Warhammer 40,000 before I decided to move away and write my own material.

The Story Crimson Fist was written by myself five years ago when I was pondering the thought what would happen if two Adaptus Astarte's chapters with the same geneseed would clash would they join sides or would the loyalist do everything possible to eliminate the stain the traitors make on their Primarch's name.  And that's just what the first story Crimson Fist : The Necrosphere is exactly about. After I wrote the first one well I had to continue the story.

The second story Is called Volcane. Volcane charts the events of a small army of Night Lords led by the maniacal Lord Cravex  who takes control of one of the small cities on the planet Cadia. Volcane is built on top of an underground volcano. Syakotus has one simple task destroy the city and all the traitorous Night Lords

Skin Of Evil, is the third instalment which follows. And deals a lot more with the characters as well as some new twists. the main character Syakotus is brought face to face with his old adversary Salvanfor the rogue Inquisitor from the Necrosphere. Only this time the Necron's search for the Necrosphere from the first story. Also in the third story Syakotus falls from grace becoming an outcast from the Crimson Fists Astarte's Chapter

Then finally there's the fourth story Exordium.

Exordium is the last of the series and is a much more epic story, with a climatic ending.  The story follows Syakotus on the arctic planet of Kylle there he desperately tries to take a small child to safety against all the odds. Mean while a battle in orbit ensues. Exordium also sees the return of Lykran from the first story who is still in the Deathwatch and now a Captain. He takes his kill team through space to finally end on the planet Kyle face to face with the black legion. The story is darker than that of the first three and has a tragic end.

I have since written a stand alone short story called Tear's Of Africa which focus's on events that have happened in Africa following a group of British mercenaries. In some way this story is written based on personal experiences.

I then moved onto my first novel chronicles. The story is the first of four and starts off with the destruction of earth and how the Human race puts aside their issues to work together in survival. There are many elements in the story from start to end. I have also deliberately left the finale of the first story on a gripping cliff hanger. Something of which I have a reputation for.

I've also written Seven stories based on the dirty dozen idea. Named Rybok's Rat Pack. I've set the series in my universe The Human Chronicles

Rybok's Rat Pack is simply based on the original concept of story the Dirty Dozen only set in my Universe The Human Chronicles. Rat Packs are deadly Military Penal Criminals or some of the worst scum the galaxy has in the Human race. Saul Rybok is the Colonel that dares to lead them.
The first story see's the Colonel take seven Penal soldiers in search for a super soldier altered to immeasurable strength they soon discover the super soldier has motives of its own.  During the second story Rybok recruits twelve new penal soldiers this group been more of a fixed set of characters that follow in the stories that continue. Each story sees newer characters as they get killed off. The final story sees Colonel Saul Rybok face his greatest challenge with a climatic outcome finishing off the series. I have written a number of stand alone stories set in my creation of the Human Chronicles.

I like sci fi particularly dark sci fi. I find some of the books I've read very inspirational especially the Horus Heresy books published by Black Library Publications. And some of the older classic films such as Blade Runner. And most certainly Bat Man.

I love to write and create new stories and plots and characters and since branching out to write material created by myself I have already began to create some epic sagas and characters. I love the Rybok's rat pack The humour and aggression within the stories works very well together and Rybok is a magical character with his attitude to the higher hierarchy is somewhat interesting.

Another project of mine was returning to a world I created some years ago called Third Earth which is the third generation of Earth and focuses on the many realms within the world. All the stories focus on different characters while keeping in focus with the main events happening around Third Earth. This originally is something I created a very very long time ago but due to circumstances and my occupation I never had the time to work on until this past year.

Now I'm focusing on tales in the universe I created The Human Chronicles. I've written a set of short stories that focus on a war that rages between two factions The Federation and The Coalition. Its set in a time when Humanity fights within itself. The Federation are the main governing rulers of Humanity were as the Coalition are the rogue elements of Humanity set on the outer frontiers and continually growing The Coalition are eager for Dominance and capable of achieving it at any means possible were as the Federation are more diplomatic and seek more of a peaceful life across the stars with their neighbour races.
