Angels

Days long gone
Tears shed in the night
A lighthouse shines the darkness away
An angel holds a hand to come
An angel watches all
When it is time we will join them

Fly
Fly away, Fly away
Fly to the light watch the angels soar
See the wonders they see
Know the secrets they hold
Fly
Fly away, fly away

When the dark subsides
And the truth hides
There are un-countless words to be spoken
We all suffer the ignorant and blind
When the time will come
An Angel will shine a light down

Hours pass, days pass
time stands endlessly still
Life gets dark and darkness fills a soul
Forbidden to know the light until the end
An angel will wait
A tear will be lost with sorrow

Fly
Fly away, Fly away
Fly to the light watch the angels soar
See the wonders they see
Know the secrets they hold
Fly
Fly away, fly away

The sun will rise the wind will blow
Voices soon become lost
And the night comes silently
Fear becomes lost in the final moment
A divide between now and then
An angel waits to guide a fallen soul

We wait for the unknown unaware
We steal the light when it comes
We dream of things past
Soon a memory begins to fade
And yet an angel watches us
While we live and comes to the darkness
We dream of them but we know not what they do

Fly
Fly away, Fly away
Fly to the light watch the angels soar
See the wonders they see
Know the secrets they hold
Fly
Fly away, fly away

Fly
Fly away, Fly away
Fly to the light watch the angels soar
See the wonders they see
Know the secrets they hold
Fly
Fly away, fly away

Scarecrow

Standing in the cornfields
crows on each arm
Straw dropping from his ankles
My old Scarecrow stands alone

The days are sunny
And the fields are gold
And my old scarecrow has weathered the worst
Standing alone with an old carrot for a nose

A southern breeze whispers past the willow trees
I see you there. I reach out
I reach out to touch
But you ain’t there
Just my old scarecrow and an old carrot for a nose

A drop of rain the crows scatter
A tear hides away a memory
The ground becomes soft
Alone here I stand waiting on a memory
Only my old scarecrow for comfort

A southern breeze returns
I stand here missing your sound
I stand alone a bottle of old jack in my hand
A southern rain falls again
Only me here and my old scarecrow

Shine

A star will flicker high in the night
Shinning away curiously
Birds come from the dark
And fly to the light of dawn
And yet the star will still flicker brightly

The road is so long and so dark
Endless lines run down into the night
its all one way going into the dawn
The sound of silence surrounds the night
Not a sign of life just an empty dark road

Shine, Shine with me
See the stars brightly shine away
A flicker that lasts a moment lost in time
Shine, Shine with me
Down the darkness

The sound of the wind rustling
In the still of night with the flicker of leaves
is a magic all of its own
In the distance an owl will sing
and the fields move in morphic waves

Shine, Shine with me
See the stars brightly shine away
A flicker that lasts a moment lost in time
Shine, Shine with me
Down the darkness

Lost, lost away in this world
Sadness surrounds me
Darkness consumes me
I travel the dark road
Looking, looking for an angel

Shine, Shine with me
See the stars brightly shine away
A flicker that lasts a moment lost in time
Shine, Shine with me
Down the darkness

Sleep

The sky is so black
Were have all the stars gone
One by one the birds fly east
Sorrow deepens my heart
Forever the light flickers away

No one looks to the ocean
No one sings tonight
While there’s silence in heaven
The angels will cry
while baby sleeps forever

Sleep baby sleep
The pain will recede
Angels will stand with you
The light will guide you
Sleep baby sleep

Rain falls silently
Shadows of the moon stand still
Tonight innocence is hurting
Baby’s in pain
Angels crying

Angels guide my baby well
Let heavens gates be open
Baby’s hurting
Let the pain recede tonight
Through falling rain tears are hiding

Sleep baby sleep
The pain will recede
Angels will stand with you
The light will guide you
Sleep baby sleep

She’s dancing in the night
Shadows follow her as she moves
magic’s in her eyes
There’s a white hare running
As the white Dove sleeps beside her

An Angel smiles for her
I know she’ll be safe now
She’ll be in the arms of Angels
And while my tears will never dry
I know my baby’s safe

Sleep baby sleep
The pain will recede
Angels will stand with you
The light will guide you
Sleep baby sleep

All My Days Fall Into One

The day comes to an end
And the night draws in
Another day passed by
And still I find myself looking back
Looking back over the days we’d shared

All my days fall into one
Another sleepless night
An empty bottle at my side
A memory of what was
And yet the days still go by

Sat surrounded by the darkness
A bottle in my hand
The world still drifts by
And still I’m so in love with you
Knowing I’ll never say goodbye again.

The smell of your skin
A taste from your lips
Your hair was so red like a blazing fire
And your smile still follows me through
And those days were so great

All my days fall into one
Another sleepless night
An empty bottle at my side
A memory of what was
And yet the days still go by

I drift away as the dawn awakens
And still I clutch to the memory
A memory of what was
Leaving only whispers in the dark
And again the dawn returns

All my days fall into one
Another sleepless night
An empty bottle at my side
A memory of what was
And yet the days still go by

100 Mile's An Hour

I’m a hundred miles an hour
Down the highway
Baby I’m coming home
Leaving ghosts cold in the ground
And baby It’s a long way home

I can’t slow down gotta get home
It’s a hundred miles an hour
And I can’t slow down
One hundred Miles an hour
And I’ll be home soon

Racing through the dry roads
My heart pumping
And the dirt in my wake
Feeling no remorse
Just leaving too many ghosts down

I’m a hundred miles an hour
Down the highway
Baby I’m coming home
Leaving ghost cold in the ground
And baby It’s a long way home

I used to go slow but now its all changed
It’s been such a long long time baby
And I wanna see you smile to me again
I’ll be home before dawn
Coming One hundred miles an hour

I’m a hundred miles an hour
Down the highway
Baby I’m coming home
Leaving ghost cold in the ground
And baby It’s a long way home

I’m a hundred miles an hour
Down the highway
Baby I’m coming home
Leaving ghost cold in the ground
And baby It’s a long way home

She Loves The Rain

The grey skies above
Are tears from the angels
She loved the rain
In many ways
Always hiding the tears
She loved the rain

The stars above us
Will shine all that brighter
For her smile will find birds singing in spring
One kiss from her still red lips
Is a Kiss from an Angel
Autumn leaves will fall as she glows

One touch is like the joy
Of belonging into heaven
Her heart was like the beat of a deer
Fleeing the hunter through the woods
And yet she managed to find a smile

She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above
She would grace a smile
And tell me
She loves the rain.

Oooh it’s just an endless night
Falling water is rain
From above she would smile
Send me a kiss and grace her love through
Her beating heart
Beautiful to the touch

Running wild in fields painted gold
Its not hard to believe
That’s she had a beauty
To equal the gods above
Running wild while the rain would fall
Across her skin with a passion from the heart

She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above
She would grace a smile
And tell me
She loves the rain.

I only wish I could have surrendered my soul
For the darkness was cold
She could find comfort in her pain
Waiting for another storm
So she could shed her tears
Through the rain hiding her pain

She would live and she would laugh
She had eternity
And she chose to love
And let the daemons take their claim
Finding some comfort with her pain
Would be to look at the rain gracing a smile

She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above
She would grace a smile
And tell me
She loves the rain.

Tears in rain
Just tears falling
Falling hiding within this rain
Tears come crushing through grey skies
For she would wake smile and laugh
Laugh all the while she felt the pain

Once she dreamed of paradise
Spent a day planning her time there
Choosing to live her life
And steer her way through the rain
All the while Darkness was waiting
Waiting for her

She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above
She would grace a smile
And tell me
She loves the rain.

She became tired
Dreamed no more
So far way she fell left the rain to fall
Yet with a smile she understood
She would not walk alone
Tired she’d speak of angels by her side

She loved the rain
In a beautiful dawn
Like a falling star from the heavens above
She would grace a smile
And tell me
She loves the rain.
